Help clean up the Berkeley Botanical Garden! Also a great way to get acquainted with this establishment for Bio 1B!

Do you enjoy participating in volunteer-driven community events? We need your help at the UC Botanical Garden's Fall Plant Sale. This plant sale is a perfect opportunity for those that want to get involved in the local gardening community or just work at a fun event. Volunteer support is vital to this important fundraiser!

Sunday, September 27, 2015 Members' Preview Sale: 9am - 10:30am
Public Sale: 10:30am - 3pm

Volunteer shifts are as follows: 8:30am - 12:00pm and/or 11:30am - 3:30pm

Jobs include helping customers put plants into the hold areas, moving/loading plants for customers, returning plants to stock after the sale, and clean-up.

You must be able to lift approx. 20 lbs. and be willing to work cooperatively with others in a fun, but often hectic environment! Community service hours/credit available for those that qualify. A light lunch is provided for volunteers.
