Project Description
This required taking notes at meetings and harassing officers to complete project reports.
Event Preparation
The recording secretary had to find pen and paper before each meeting to take notes with. The more difficult part of preperation is maintanence of a list of project report worthy events and who organized these events. This list would then be used to determine which events still required completion of project reports.
Problems Encountered
Once the recording secretary did not bring any paper and had to borrow some.... The greatist problem encountered was lazy officers who did not wish to complete their project reports on time. People suggested creating a reward system for completing project reports, but the recording secretary felt that rewarding people for what they agreed to do by becoming officers was superfluous. Occationally the recording secretary could not make a meeting and had another officer take notes for him (who was generally Cindy Lee).
Improvements Suggested
This secretary always used black ink for his notes. Maybe using colors like blue or green might make the note taking more fun and interesting.
Enjoyment
This position is recommended for people who want to be involved in TBP as a paper pusher. There is minimal interaction with candidate and members, and consequently has little social value.
