Society of Engineering Science (SES)

From The Unofficial Guide to Engineering

What is SES?

Founded in 1980, SES is comprised of students with interests in Bioengineering, Computational Engineering Science, Geoscience, Engineering Math and Statistics, Engineering Physics, and Environmental Engineering. The primary purpose of this society is to give representation to and advance the interest of the Engineering Sciences. SES provides the opportunity for interaction with students with common interests. While SES represents a huge diversity of fields, it also serves to unite a group of largely interdisciplinary majors, which face unique goals and issues. Overall SES is an extremely flexible and personal organization whose main goal is to continually adapt and serve the wide variety of member interests.
