Exam files
From Unofficial Guide to Engineering
Unfortunately, engineers take some of the hardest classes and some pretty intense tests. To prepare for these exams, it’s important to familiarize yourself with the subject matter and the professors testing style. Fortunately, many organizations, including TBP, provide students with an exam file database.
The advantage of studying old exams is tremendous. Most professors teach the same class over and over again. Even though the exact test question may not come up, chances are that a question with a similar style or attacking a similar sub-area of the class will show up. Further, old test questions are probably the most relevant practice problems because of their difficulty and relevance.
Additionally, for students trying to decide which class to take, old exam files can reveal how difficult the class will be.
